Classes for Children
BROADWAY BOUND
Mondays, Sep. 14 – Nov. 16:
Level 1 – 4:30-6:00 p.m.; Level 2 – 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, Sep. 16 – Nov. 11: Level 3 – 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Thursdays, Sep. 17 – Nov. 12: Level 4 – 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Tuition $175.00
*Placement class for all new students Thursday, Sep. 10, 5:00 p.m.

Students, grouped by age and ability level, rotate through 30-minute classes in voice, acting, and dance within a 90-minute class meeting one day per week. The classes, using the performing arts to enhance self-awareness and creativity, culminate in an end-of-semester performance. Broadway Bound prepares students for future study of the arts in high school programs like the Cape High Theatre Arts Academy.

Classes for Adults
ADULT MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE STYLES
Wednesdays, Sep. 16 – Nov. 18
: 6:00-7:15 p.m.
Tuition $175.00 Ken Skrzesz - Instructor

Dance styles found in Broadway shows (Jazz, Charleston, Swing, Cha-Cha, Soft Shoe) are explored through choreographed phrases following center technique exercises.

ADULT ACTING TECHNIQUE
Wednesdays, Sep. 16 – Nov. 18:
7:30-9:00 p.m.
Tuition $175.00 Ken Skrzesz - Instructor

This class explores a broad spectrum of exciting acting tools including improvisation, character development, monologue and scene work.

Classes for Children & Adults
PRIVATE LESSONS
Lessons and coachings in voice and instrumental music may be scheduled in semester-long sessions with weekly meetings in 30 or 60-minute timeframes.

Auditions for 2009-2010 Season
Season auditions will be held on Saturday, September 12, for available roles in SCROOGE!, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN.  Actors should arrive at Cape Henlopen High School promptly at 10 a.m. in suitable dance attire and prepared to sing a 16-measure section of a standard musical theatre song with sheet music in the correct key.
