Youth Talent Show - Organized and directed by Susan Rogers of Kaleidoscope Productions, young people all over the Eastern Shore auditioned in April and May and will perform at Delmarva Youth's 5th Birthday Celebration. Performers include Delmarva's best young singers, dancers, guitarists, pianists, youth bands, and a host of other talent. (11 am to 3:30 pm on stage.)
Youth Final Variety Show - A select group of young people will perform final variety show. (3:30 pm - 4:30 pm on stage.)
Demonstrations & Performances - Various groups will demonstrate and perform. Represented will be: Clear Space Productions, Beach Bounders Gymnastics, Black Belt Connection, Feet of Fire Dance Academy, Footsteps Dance Academy, Mitchell's Martial Arts, Twister's Gymnastics. (11 - 5 pm on stage.)
Dunking Booth - Ocean Pines Recreation will host our dunking booth. Look for Salisbury's Mayor Jim Ireton as one of our dunkees, as well as zany Dr. Z of Camp Odyssey and many more!!
Parent Workshops - Parents can take part in workshops throughout the day on topics relating to youth. Speakers from area businesses and organizations will present information on sports recruiting, paying for college, selecting child care, promoting youth excellence, and a variety of other topics. Each workshop is 20 minutes long. Pick up schedule when you arrive for complete list of topics and times.
Games - There will be so much for kids to do! Parent/Kid relay races, Bouncy House (inflatables), Lil' Kickers soccer games, Laser Tag Tournaments, Wii Games, and much, much more!
Wild Mustangs! Holly Ridge Farm Equestrian Center LLC Presents: "America's Living Legends, Hoofbeats thru History." Enjoy an informative presentation with, "Sparks" a free roaming wild mustang horse from out west. You will be educated about adaptability of free roaming mustangs and burrors that have been captured in the wild. These animals are tamed, trained and well behaved. These horses do well in any riding style of riding. Come and see for yourself!
Arts & Crafts - Build bird houses with Home Depot, work on soap sculptures with the Ward Museum, or create beautiful paintings and beaded projects with art teachers all over the shore! There will be lots of fun, creative projects for kids who love art!
Facepainting - As special as YOU are, we want to really make you UNIQUE! Get your face painted - ANY AGE WELCOME!
Family Yard Sale - Churches and families of Delmarva have been invited to set up shop! Come check out family-friendly items, in a fun environment!
Cake! Food & Drinks available!
Vendors, Giveaways, and Games - Family-friendly businesses all over the shore are taking part in Delmarva Youth Magazine's 5th Birthday Celebration! Look for special activities, games, and giveaways as you visit some of their tables. Play our Scavenger Hunt while you're here! Free Delmarva Youth Birthday t-shirts to first 200 to play. Pick up a bag with scavenger hunt list when you arrive. Follow the directions, then come see us for your T. For list of vendors, see below.
